For Safety, Fun, and Learning
Ascutney's Young Olympians programs offer age-specific ski and snowboard instruction, in a safe, fun, and encouraging environment. The Young Olympians program is taught by talented and qualified staff, who will provide your children with a great skiing and riding experience. This widely acclaimed program for youngsters ages 7-12 is for all ability level skiers and snowboarders. It provides a significant amount of on-mountain instruction and discovery combined with the camaraderie of meeting other children of similar age and ability level.

Cheddar's Discovery Zone
Named after Ascutney's much loved mascot, "Cheddar's Discovery Zone" incorporates a separate learning area for the younger set complete with its own Wonder Carpet 
surface lift and adjacent "Mouse House Lodge", a cabin just for kids. The lodge is right on the slopes and allows kids to spend more time on the snow by providing them a convenient warming shelter and place to take breaks or have a cup of hot chocolate. The area will be utilized primarily by participants in the Mini and Young Olympians ski and snowboard programs.
