The Rip Zone Terrain Park has proven to be a quality stomping ground for skiers and riders and quickly became one of the more frequent routes down the mountain, Danielle Henry, an accomplished snowboard instructor states, "With Ascutney’s terrain park accessible by every upper mountain lift, I love that I can enjoy my favorite trails on the mountain and finish my run with a ride through the park". The Rip Zone features an array of kickers, tabletops, various rails and a monster 24-foot mail box along with other fun challenges all enhanced with a state of the art sound system to get you in the groove.

The concept of the park and reason for its expansion is to familiarize skiers and riders with the multiple park elements and provide them with an increase in the fun and challenge, adding to their Ascutney experience. The layout of the Rip Zone is designed to allow riders the maximum exposure to the array of elements within the park. The terrain park is accessible from every upper mountain lift, making it easy to get to and a great way to finish off a run down the mountain.
